One of the biggest in Europe, our premises not only facilitates the design & build of Thompson friction welding machines, but the efficient handling of production runs on a versatile range of Thompson friction welding machines, as part of our subcontract friction welding provision. With forge capacities from 15-150 tons offering rotary process capabilities, these flexible machines can join a wide variety of components for many different industrial applications.

Other services include component development and weld trials, destructive and non-destructive testing, metallurgical analysis and material suitability advice, provided by Professor Kameel Sawalha, out of our on-premise metallurgical laboratory.

Whatever the needs of our customers, we are able to design and build a machine that meets those needs, through a combination of standardised configurations, complemented by add-on technologies, such as robots for a fully automated solution.
